The security has been beefed up at both the Upper and the Junior School
of St. Nicholas’ International College Negombo. The security is
supervised by the Air force on a 24 hour basis. The parents, teachers,
the Admins Staff and the private security guards of the school assist in
the overall security arrangement.
Some Points to Remember:
– Only transparent bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, pencil cases will
be allowed for the students. Text books should be kept inside the
lockers provided by the school.
– All vehicles which provide transport to students should stop to drop
or pick students away from school boundaries. Parents are strictly
advised not to obstruct the gate. No vehicles can be parked or stopped
in front of the school. Vehicles are not allowed inside school premises.
– All the vehicles transporting students to the school in the morning or
in the afternoon must display the specially made SCHOOL VAN/CAR CARD on
their windscreens.The student should collect the Card from the Accounts
Department of the School.
– A parent is allowed to bring the students from school van/car to the
gate only by obtaining the specially made SCHOOL VAN REP. PASS and must
wear it to be seen by the Security Committee.
– It is a must for the students to bring the record book everyday and
must show the page on which the Student’s photograph is pasted before
they enter the school. The book must be kept updated.
– All students must bring a small umbrella to school everyday.
– Entering the School is allowed only by appointment. Please call the
Receptionist and get an appointment after giving the requested details.
– Security guards are instructed to record all the details of visitors
and collect visitor’s Identity cards at the entrance. I humbly request
you to adhere to the security system introduced and cooperate with the
security guards for the safety of the entire school.
