Four students of St. Nicholas’ International College, Negombo, who were identified as Best
Performing Learners received their Awards of Recognition for their admirable achievements in
the Cambridge May / June 2019 Examination at a colourful ceremony held on 30 th November
2019 at the BMICH Colombo.
Our students Master Shenal Lochana was Top in Country on Bible Knowledge at the
Cambridge Ordinary Level May / June 2019 Examination; Miss Nethaniah Gunawardena was
Top in Country on Environmental Management at the Cambridge Ordinary Level May / June
2019 Examination; Miss Ronela Fernando was Top in Country with Three A stars (A) in Commerce Stream at the Cambridge Advanced Level May / June 2019 Examination and Master Vishal Fernando with Three A stars (A) in Mathematics Stream at the Cambridge
Advanced Level May / June 2019 Examination.
Once unique feature that was common to all these achievers was the perfect balance they have
maintained in academics, sports, recreation and extra-curricular activities and also the potential
displayed in leadership as Prefects of the College.
Whilst congratulating these achievers for the honour that they have earned and also the honour
and glory brought on the College, it is our wish and prayer that they succeed equally well in all
their future academic endeavours.
